Richmond Gate – Kilmainham, Dublin
Designed by Francis Johnson, this fine gatehouse tower of Dublin granite was originally opened by the Duke of Richmond in 1812. It was moved to its present location at the entrance to the West Avenue of the Royal Hospital in 1847.
