Red Brick
I love to walk. On a recent visit to Birmingham, I wandered down from the university in Edgbaston and headed west along the Bristol Road toward Moseley. Down a leafy avenue I came to the Pershore Road and found this lovely old red brick building on the edge of Cannon Hill Park. Apparently it used to be part of the Birmingham Zoo. I couldn’t help thinking that it reminded me of an ark – with that big door to allow in the giraffes and elephants…
