Nice work.
I just recently began documenting burial sites and monuments in a very famous cemetery located in NYC called Green-Wood.
Please feel free to take a look at the images I posted just this week.
Best regards,
Louis
Hi, I have been to Luss graveyard and have taken photos of many mostly on the East Coast, Fife, Perthshire and love them all. My question is please enlighten my mind as to why some memorials are red. This only seems to be seen in the west, as I have seen one other graveyard similar. Dying to find out.
Re: Red gravestones. Just a guess here…..could it have something to do with traces of iron in the stone which might produce a red hue when it oxidizes? Another possibility might be some sort of lichen activity.
Best,
Declan

Cool shots.
I like all of these shots You have taken. When photographing churches in my country I visit also on graveyards and take photos from memorials.
Here You can see few of them.
